Shawn Shan is a PhD candidate in Computer Science at University of Chicago. His research focuses on developing technical solutions to protect people from malicious uses of AI. He is a recipient of the Forbes 30 Under 30 Award, the USENIX Internet Defense Prize, and the Chicago Innovation Award.
